San Gabriel Presbyterian PASTORAL LEADERSHIP
San Gabriel Presbyterian Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our ministry leadership team and church staff contact info.
Dr. Bill Pederson
Thank you for your interest in San Gabriel Presbyterian Church. San Gabriel is a welcoming, nurturing community of faith in Jesus Christ. But don’t take my word for it. Come and see for yourself! Our doors are open to you and we would welcome the opportunity to have you visit.
A word about me personally. I am a life-long Presbyterian and a native Texan. My undergraduate degree is from Texas A&M University and my theological degrees are from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. My ministry has taken me to churches in Weatherford, Texas, Round Rock, Texas, Matthews, North Carolina, and now San Gabriel Presbyterian Church. My wife and I are the parents of two daughters and a dog Annabelle that runs our household. I swim and do yoga stretches for exercise on a weekly basis and I enjoy hiking, gardening, golf, and I am a mean ping pong player!
I love my work as a pastor! Parish ministry is exciting and exhilarating, particularly in a congregation that is growing like San Gabriel. I value working with people of all ages and count it a true privilege to be present in the name of Jesus Christ with people experiencing all aspects of life. I immensely enjoy teaching the Bible and I am humbled by the preaching task and believe wholeheartedly that God loves us tenaciously and is always present with us no matter what.
Director of Family Outreach
Hi! I'm Toni and I'm the Family Ministry Director here at SGPC. I've spent many years working as a Children's Minister in various churches before coming to SGPC in 2015.
As a wife and mom of two young adults, I know how hard it is to raise people of faith in our current culture. SGPC is such a warm and welcoming place for that! I love the way our different generations work together to create a safe and welcoming place for families from all walks of life. I hope you will come visit and see that for yourself.
When you do visit, please look for me. I would love to meet you!
On any given Sunday, you'll find me in our Parents Time-Out Room visiting with other parents, teaching our youth in their Youth Room, or maybe delivering a Children's Message during the Worship Service and walking our kids back to their own classtime before the sermon.
It would be great to meet you and show you around!
